Zwickau wurde 2023 mit dem Titel »Klimaschutzkommune« ausgezeichnet: https://www.radiozwickau.de/beitrag/zwickau-verteidigt-titel-klimaschutzkommune-805532/
Nahezu 800 Jahre lang, bis 1978, wurde in Zwickau und in der umliegenden Region Steinkohle abgebaut. Zwickau ist eine Wiege der deutschen Automobilindustrie. Die mehr als hundertjährige Tradition in der Automobilherstellung in Zwickau begann Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts.
1810 wurde hier der Komponist der Romantik, Robert Schumann geboren. Die Stadt wird daher Automobil- und Robert-Schumann-Stadt genannt. Weiterhin bekannte Persönlichkeiten der Stadt sind der spätgotische Bildhauer Peter Breuer, der Künstler Max Pechstein und der Schauspieler Gert Fröbe.

Zwickau wurde 2023 mit dem Titel »Klimaschutzkommune« ausgezeichnet: https://www.radiozwickau.de/beitrag/zwickau-verteidigt-titel-klimaschutzkommune-805532/
Nahezu 800 Jahre lang, bis 1978, wurde in Zwickau und in der umliegenden Region Steinkohle abgebaut. Zwickau ist eine Wiege der deutschen Automobilindustrie. Die mehr als hundertjährige Tradition in der Automobilherstellung in Zwickau begann Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts.
1810 wurde hier der Komponist der Romantik, Robert Schumann geboren. Die Stadt wird daher Automobil- und Robert-Schumann-Stadt genannt. Weiterhin bekannte Persönlichkeiten der Stadt sind der spätgotische Bildhauer Peter Breuer, der Künstler Max Pechstein und der Schauspieler Gert Fröbe.
